Good color, nice nose with cedar, cassis and lead pencil, improving with air time. Nice enough on the palate but a bit shallow, fails to match the nose, and a rather short finish. Maybe I'm impatient and spoiled by the Joel Gott at less than half the price. This dude was $39 at a "discount" jernt, 14.1% alc/vol. OK for a restaurant price, but not for a discount retailer. Lots of better bell-ringers available.
