After a couple disappointing wines, this was fine for an inexpensive grocery store Cabernet.
12.5% alcohol; synthetic cork
Nose possibly slightly exceeds the palate. Very fruity nose of blackberry and dark plum. Resolved tannins and more fruit on the palate. This is an enjoyable everyday C.S. for those that don't enjoy harsth tannins and that don't have WW's cellar to draw upon for properly aged C.S. or Bordeaux wines. Label says serious fruit and soft tannins. That's pretty truthful.
Served with broiled boneless N.Y. strip steak and baked potato and sour cream. Second night with lasagna. Better match to the steak.
