Deep purple, primal, ripe and deep. Great density of fruit, but combined with very nice structure, almost vervy. Excellent but at a price.

Had both Napa and Special Selection 06 and 07. Agreed with TE's notes. They are both something special...

I know I should not touch these but then again when you picked them up for $45...... Was going to have dinner with a client who introduced me to the Shown vineyards and I wanted to remind him again where the vineyards went after Shown was sold.

The more I drink this, the more similarity in texture that I sense. Very nice stuff.
