Rhis is my back to the sabbatical wine. Hadnt tried this for 8-9 months. Still improving in the nose. Very close to being at thew top of its' game. This bottling has to be predominatly Cabernet as the labeling is Cab Sauv-Cinq Cepages unlike other cinqs. No breakdown on the label so this is based on Califs' 75% varietal labeling program. What-ever this sucker is it's a wonderful sip. Still in the low 91-92s but with any more improvement in the aromatics should kick-up a notch or two. Back to the @@#$^&*()_%^&( sabbatical for another 2 weeks.WW

I've been sitting on mine cause I thought they were in a backward state....Maybe I'll pop one to compare with your notes....the only problem is I don't know how to write your language to post, only to read.

I haven't had the 95, but I have had a few of the 97 and they were all excellent. I will have to look for a 95 now.

Popped one tonight for a special friend of Eileen's with dinner. Really singing now. Classic Calif. Cab. cigar box and dark plum nose. Beautiful, elegant fruit, complex and delish. Didn't take formal notes as was enjoying the company. Showing well and will age for some more years. Now if we could get some sun in Ocean City.

Popped another bottle of this with lunch yesterday. Classic cab nose of cassis, earth, red fruits, and cedar box. The aromatics have gotten about as intense as they can be. A long 4+ lapper finish. Kick it up to a solid 92. WW
