One of thr 10 best wines I've had in the last year. A seamless terrifically complex bottle that still has some time. Berries, cherries, plums, cassis. on-and-on. Mouthcoating with the violet perfume of the Cab Franc giving the beauty and the Cab Sav hitting on all tastebuds. So good for my lunch birthday wine we're taaking a bottle of the 94 out for appetizers at Convivo. Will report on that sucker toimorrow. The 97
is a solid 96/98. 50 by the box. 13.5% alc

What do you think the maturity lenght will be?

- Bucko - 03-10-2004

I drank the 94 recently. Decent, no epiphany.

ww, that's 15 that have made your 10 best this year--is that the same number of toes you have on which to count?

Another birthday? Celebrating your birthday (or anything else, for that matter) is a good thing, but have you stopped counting yet?

- Thomas - 03-12-2004

I missed that birthday mention. Did they celebrate birth days when you were hatched ww? Seems so loooooong ago...

Opened this for lunch today. Absolutely in the top echelon of wines my ole fading memory can recall. Balanced, completely finished and leaves nothing to the imagination. Still some silky tannins lurking but are not intreusive. No change in scoring and should hold another 3-6. WW
