1998 Walla Walla Vintners, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley, $34. Blueberry and bing cherry notes are pleasing to the nose. Smooth on the palate, this wine is simply packed with jammy mixed black fruit that makes you want look for the bread to spread it on. Silky tannins and enhancing American oak flavors lurk in the background.
