I met the jazz-loving Jim Bundschu 30 years ago at my favorite pushers shop in Denver and have followed his wines closely ever since. I think this is probably his first venture into the Ulta-Premium end of the business. Had forgotten I'd bought these but now am very glad I did. Brilliant medium ruby. No bricking. Nose of flowers, cinnamon, black plums and a touch of saddle leather. All come over on the palate along with some red fruits and loam. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4+ lapper finish. No noticible tannins. 91/88 55 13.6% alc. WW
