One of my favorite Meritage wines from one of my favorite producers in Calif. A St. Emillion type blend of Cab, Merlot and cab franc. Rhe % varies from year to year and the grapes are from the Komes vineyards in the Rutherford district. This blend was 39% cab, 44% merlot, and 17% cab franc. Lovely deep ruby. Still a puppy. Nice floral aromas come after 15 minutes in the glass. A compressed fuity prescence gives way to an rlrgant winr in the making. Still needs 2-4 more years. A very good but not great Trilogy. Should show better later. 87/85. 40 per by the box. WW
