Very dark in color (I was told that this was due to the Petite Verdot). Nice enough nose of dark fruits, berries, plums, a bit spicy and oak. In the mouth, it is of the same with a nice acidity (less thick than it would appear), hint of austerity in midpalate and nice acidity. I liked this one too

Haven't tried this edition since tasting it and buying it on release. Will make a mental note to pull one in the near future. As can be seen from my notes this is one of my favorite producers in Napa. WW

My favorite of the Viader bottles by FAR. Excellent every vintage that I have tasted.
