Getting ready for the week ahead wine. A real surprise. Lovely light clear ruby. No browning. Floraal, spicy nose. Cassis and red fruits show the wines heritage. 69% Cabernet, 26% Cab Franc, and 5% Merlot. A surprisingly strong flavor profile for this wine. Dead on top of its' game. If you have this cellared now's the time to reach for the screw-pull. 'Kaint get no better. Only draw-back is the mid-range finish(3+-Lapper)
or this could have made the high-altitude range. Still a VERY enjoyable bottle.89/94 13 by the box. WW
