Their version of a Super Tuscan with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and a little Merlot benifiting from 14 months in French Oak and another 12 in bottle. Very smooth tannins for it's young age. I would guess from the large % of Sangiovese. A decent finish but nothing outstanding. Raspberry but mostly cherry. A good value at $23.I will grab more.

I posted on this semi-recently in the Italian thread, though I found it more nondescript than you did. IMHO, probably a better deal at my price point ($15) than yours.

I had a few glasses of something else before hand and that may have made it taste "better" than it really was.
