very good nose of sweet, cool dark fruits and spices, plus a touch of mint. excellent flavors of same, followed by a medium finish. soft mouthfeel. really nice fruit, minimal acidity and tannins. 90 points.

I was disappointed that at an Elyse wine dinner we didn't get to sample any wines from the Morisoli Vineyard. (We did have a nice white blended wine from Mendoncino County grapes I believe and a nice Pinot Noir).

I've tried some wines from V. Sattui from Morisoli and they ahve been pretty good. How many people get fruit from this vineyard?

IMHO Elyse has made the finest bottles from this fine vineyard. Am sure I've made posts on this lovely bottling from many vintages.

Not sure of everyone, but I know Karl Lawrence, Whitehall Lane and Galleron use, or have used, this fruit.
