I had a bottle of this juice 2 wks ago and was very impressed with how smooth this wine was for about $18 a bottle so I bought a case. From what I understand (I may be wrong), these grapes are grown right next to the vineyards that are the source for Mondavi's OPUS.

Anyway, I felt it was a great find for only $18 and thought I'd see if anyone else had found the same.

Hi agin' ole HP. I've found the Franciscan wines to be outstanding values for the money and in their upper echelon bottlings such as the Magnifique to make marvelous juice. 'Taint quite next door , but on the same hiway as Mondavi between Oakville and St. Helena. Drink fast, Stay Happy. WW
