Eoms' rep for his pinots has been well-earned but he also IMHO makes one the the premier, long-lasting, balanced cabs in Sonoma. This puppy bears me out. Medium ruby with out any browning. Complex nose of red fruits, cassis, red plums, allspioce, and a touch of vanills. Great entry, weighty center, and a 4&1/2-lapper finish. On par with the best he's ever produced. Still some silky tannins lurking but with another year will hits the top of ol;d baldy. 92/93. 29 on futures. 14.5% alc. WW
