This fine small St. Helena producers is making some keen juice these days. Lovely deep ruby color, a pretty floral nose that has touches of brite berries, some vanilla overtones, spices that tend toward the cinnamon, all-spice family rather than pepper. A smooth entry, good center and a good finish. A complete wine that's balanced, with some rounded tannins still there. Will give years of drinking pleasure. WW

I haven't tried one of their wines in years. Sounds pretty tasty.
