Without a doubt the best wine I've had from Jim Bs' fine old Sonoma property. Almost a sweet note in the super nose of this medium tuby bnottling. Trd fruits with a touch of leather and cinnamon come up on the nose and palate. Solid entry and center and a bold 4-lapper finish. A great bottle from this 135 year old propert. 90/92 17 by the box. T is next to R, R is next to E, and I hit D without help. RED......RED....RED...WW

You know, you really have to be careful, WW. Already we novices have accepted "cat pee" in TNs; in our naivete we're apt to believe anything!

And let's not think of the "solid entry and center" part!

Well at least now I have the impression that SOMEONE is reading my tasting notes. I go for weeks and think maybe ebberbody done left the board. ww

I read every one, WW, even though I go for weeks without buying a cab.

I thought Jim B's fine old property was in Kentucky, or Tennessee, or some place like that.

Stand fer James Bundschu, Jazz-loving-Third-Generation scion Of the Gundlach Bundschu winery. (Our favorite vocal from Lambert-Hendricks&Ross "Unhand That Bottle")

I actually do know that - it was a tiny little jest.

- quijote - 11-01-2003

WW, I love your TNs, though I'll never be able to find and try even a small portion of the wines you mention....

- winoweenie - 11-01-2003

KC I read that and appreciated the small jab. Put the response so others would unnerstan'. ww
