Had an actual business lunch at the club yesterday and as both of my dining partners like wine took these 2. Think I've peobably reported on both before so the specifics aren't that important except neither is in any danger of going south in the near future and both are in the outstanding catagory. The consensus was the Spring Mtn bottle was slightly superior but not to the 3x original cost factor.Glad I went heavy on both these suckers. Good stuff. WW

Opened the Raymond for lunch yesterday. Keen nose of brite red fruits, sweet spices, some leather and a tiny bit of flowers. All came over on the palate. After an hour in the glass the mouthfeel expanded and the finish fleshed out. Went from a 3&1/2 to a solid 4 lapper. Excellent wine with some soft tannins barely showing up. Rite at TTOIG and should hold for at least 5-7. 91/95 24+ by the box. 14.5% alc. Good Stuff! WW
