My last bottle opened last night with roast lamb. Has more years of life ahead and this bottle has evolved into a beautiful drinking experience. Black garnet, not opaque. Rich plum and concentrated flavors of currant with a hint of toasty vanilla made this a perfect match to the lamb. A little hot on the mid-palate and still has ample tannins on the long finish. Wished I had more. 13.5%Alc/vol.

More evidence of the quality of the 95 vintage. WW

I'm glad to hear Sebastiani makes that good of a Cab. I have a case of the 97' I'm really looking forward to enjoying!

We had a couple of bottles of the 97 Saturday night. What a lovely, satisfying wine, a happy marriage of price and quality.
