WW and all...I found a bottling of Mount Eden Estates Cab '97 for $30 that I never heard of. It's a blend of 75% Cab, 22% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. Any info would appreciated.

Drew-slinger....The Mt Edens' are on my short list of super cabs. From the Santa Crux Mtns' this viable winery makes wines with power, backbone and longevity. I have a box of the 97s' in the cellar but don't find any tasting notes. From all of my past experiences, it's a no-brainer. 30 is the release price. WW

Mt. Eden does a good job with their wines and 1997 was a nice vintage year.
