One of a handfull of 98s' that really get my attention. Lots of up-front red fruits, black plums and spices that come thru on the nose and palate. Sweet minty notes also slip thru on this bottling. Can't remember any Raymond wine that has the character, depth and refinement of this bottling. Still has some refined tannins ro resolve.90/92. 25 by the box.13.8% alc.WW

I really enjoyed Raymond in the old days, but have not tried one in a while.

I'm glad yours are still holding WW, my last '98 was fading, a '96 last month was far better, though I agree the '98 was quite agreeable on release.
