Take a great vintage, a great winerys' best product, put a lil' age on the bugger and SURPRISE!, you have a great wine. Celebrating my good friends acquisition of a fabulous new home, he pulled this outta' his cellar. Dense ruby/purple color. The nose hits you first with cedar, minerals, cassis and spices with a huge backbone of fruit.A seamless wine that's full-bodied, voluptuous, silky yet powerful at the same time. The finish gets the legendary 5-lapper award. Lasts 35-45 seconds. Easy to see why Parker gave this hummer a 99. WW

Always a winning wine for sure, but the prices today are ridiculous IMHO.

This was 65 per at case pricing. Great P/Q IMHO. WW
