- winoweenie - 08-10-2002 Almost always one of the stars of each vintage this is no exception.Deep ruby. Forward nose of black and red fruits, vanilla, coriander, and a tad of chocolate. Mouthfilling entry that wakes up even these tired old buds and a very weighty center.A solid 4-lapper finish. Lots going on behind the scenes with a lot of smotth silky tannins needing another 3-5 but certainly not unenjoyable now. 91-93. WW ( I've been on a mini-sabbatical to explain my dearth of posts the last 2. Grilled a NY Strip last nite so fell off as I couldn't bring myself to drink another derned Royal Crown wif'n it ) |
