I am looking to buy some cabs in the $30-50 range that are drinking good now. I know of many in that range that would benifit from a few years of napping, but I am not sure what producers are cranking out the bottling to be drank early.

I've been told Jordan makes their cab in an early approach style, which is why it is seen on so many wine lists.

Jordan, Beringer Alluvium 01, Raymond Generations 01 or 02, Robert Craig Affinity . In general most of the Meritage wines are accessible on release but the better ones improve with bottle age. WW

Would add Simi and ZD to the list. A winemaker from Simi told me they exercise tannin management to make their wines more approachable upon release.
The Simi should be available for around $30-35 and the ZD for around $45.
