Tastes of ripe cherrys with mild tannins, light oak gives good balance with the fruit. Has a somewhat lively aftertaste, not a bad taste but different in someway. I say drink up now. 11.99

I liked this bottle the first taste I had, but after buying a case, I was less than thrilled. One bottle left in cellar and prob won't buy more. Very differnet from vintage to vintage. I look forward to trying the next.

We're getting a growing contingent from Massachusetts on the Wine Board. Just goes to show what a huge wine market we have here.

Back in 1975 Charlie Wagner who was just getting his famous Caymus label ginning decided to offer a lower priced Cab from Napa that would be a value. He brought out the Liberty School label of wines he bought, cellared, and bottled. Some were spectacular bottlings. Haven't had many of
them since the label was sold. Young Chuck has too much on his plate to deal with old friends of his dads such as myself so have drifted away from not only the Liberty School but the Caymus itself. Too bad as I've been a great admirer of the wines since 1972. WW

W.W. You are such a wealth of information and I enjoy reading your posts. I finished the rest of the bottle tonight and the taste that I could not describe last night came to me 'blueberry' slightly sour blueberry which washed away most of the fruit on the finish. Liberty School is now a Paso Robles bottling 13.5%
K.C. Cheers to the Masses.
