Dagnabit Newsie 'kaint youse put that thingy where I point and push and I goes there? I get about halfway thru writing all the stuff down and then forget where the blue-blazes I be. WW

i'm sorry verne. i've tried more than a dozen times to code this up (using the instructions on this site) so the address is a "hot link" that you just click on and it sends you to it. i've *never* been able to get it to work. as far as i can tell, i can't do hot link because the HTML and UBB codes are off. maybe a moderator with some tech knowledge could help me out?

Not this mod, but I can copy and paste! Don't think you can cut a post, but you can copy it.

HTML is off in all folders except Talk to your Moderators. So if you post it in that folder it should work. Give it a try.

IK, the cut and paste worked for me. Thanks for the tip. Nice article Newsguy.

WW hasn't mastered cut and paste yet. Perhaps his grandson can come over and give him a lesson so he doesn't have to write down the address then type it up above.

Hi Newsguy,

"03 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ($33):
This young wine isn't offering much in terms of aromas yet, with a tight nose of earth, dark fruit, cherries and a hint of spice."

Thank you for the great TNs.

Quick question... "How did the above wine evolve over a bit of time in the glass?"

Cheers

- newsguy - 05-10-2005

can't say that it had enough time in the glass to evolve over this tasting. but i did taste it a second time about 90 minutes after the bottle had been opened, and it definitely was opening up more. nice wine, but for that price, i expect more.

I have to say that I've enjoyed this wine as well but must agree that you can buy better for the dollar value.

So many wines... so little time!

Thanks again for the tasting notes...

Cheers
