entire bottles?

Learn how to taste wine like the experts?

Then hit the Trails!

New Jersey's award-winning wineries will host a "Wine Trail Weekend" on
Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, 2003. The weekend will offer
visitors a chance to learn more about wine, wine tasting, and wine
making. The free event takes place on New Jersey's Wine Trails, which
are day trips to several wineries.

Visitors to participating wineries this weekend will find fun and
educational events designed for beginners to experts including: how to
taste wine
like experts, wine and food pairings, how wine is made, as well as the
opportunity to try new wines without having to buy an entire bottle.

Participating wineries include: Alba Vineyard, Milford; Amalthea
Cellars, Atco; Amwell Valley, Ringoes; Balic Winery, Mays Landing;
Bellview Winery, Landisville; Cape May Winery, Cape May; Cream Ridge
Winery, Cream Ridge; Four Sisters Winery; Belvidere; Heritage Vineyards
of Richwood, Kings Road Vineyard, Asbury; Renault Winery, Egg Harbor
City; Sylvin Farms,Germania; Tomasello Winery, Hammonton; Unionville
Vineyards, Ringoes,
and Valenzano Winery, Shamong.

New Jersey's wineries are located in some of the most beautiful areas
of the state. In addition to the gorgeous scenery, the wineries
themselves are lovely as well -- many in old stone buildings or
converted dairy barns. Add to this the acres and acres of grape vines
planted on sunny hills and, perhaps most important, great award-winning
wine tasting, and you have the makings for a great day trip.

To help visitors explore New Jersey wineries, the Garden State Wine
Growers Association has put together suggestions for New Jersey Wine
Trail day trips for each area of the state. The Trails, which include
in-depth information on each winery on the Trail and detailed directions

from one winery to the next, can be found on the Garden State Wine
Growers Association website www.newjerseywines.com. Just click on Wine
Trails in the left hand menu. Simply print out the directions and you
are ready to hit the Trails and learn more about wine.

If you love wine and love to travel, if you are looking for a fun day
trip or relaxing week-end getaway, check out the New Jersey Wine Trails
and then hit the trail! As always, New Jersey wineries urge you to
drink and drive responsibility, or better yet, use a designated driver
to make sure everyone has a fun, safe trip.
