Bounty of the Hudson Wine Tasting Festival
June 28 &29, Warwick Valley Winery, Warwick, NY. 12-5pm. Admission $10 advance, $12 day of. Entitles you to 4 tastes of wine from each of 14 participating wineries, souvenier wine glass, live music. Delicious edibles from Hudson Valley restaurants, cheesemakers, bakeries avail. Charge tickets by calling 845-255-2494. Held Rain or Shine.
Festival is a half hour from famous Woodbury Commons Factory Outlet Center, 45 minutes from West Point, one hour north of New York City.

Sure wish I could go. Are you saying for $12 you get 4x12 tastes? WOW.
I love the wine on the east Coast, it has the grapier flavor than we have here in California, which is mostly oakey,buttery or a fruity, but I have yet to taste anything that comes close to the grape flavor I taste back east. The 1st wine given to me on a visit(cheap I know) was Lake Niagra, but that's the flavor I'm referring to, and I found it again at one of the wineries in Penn but they don't ship out of state. I can't find that grape taste here and not even the wino-cheap wine tastes like it, so forget manechevitz--That's NOT IT.

Well my wife and I drove up for this event from West Central New Jersey on June 28th, just like the posting stated. However,this event doesn't take place until JULY 28 & 29.
