NAPA VALLEY WINERIES AND RESTAURANTS ANNOUNCE
SUPPORT FOR 19th ANNUAL SUN AND STARS AUCTION

Fundraiser for Montessori Family Center Will Feature an Exciting Range of Wine and Food Tastings

ST. HELENA, California (February 11, 2002) – The Montessori Family Center, a non-profit preschool serving Napa Valley, today announced a host of local wineries, restaurants and food service providers will be supporting the school’s 19th Annual Sun & Stars Wine Auction by serving some of their finest vintages and gourmet fare. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002, at the Culinary Institute of America, in St. Helena.

Among the list of Napa Valley wineries offering tastings at the event are Beaulieu Vineyards, Corison Winery, Cakebread Cellars, Chappellet Winery, Domain Chandon, Laird Family Estate, Monticello Cellars, Robert Pecota Winery, Rombauer Vineyards, St. Clement Vineyards, and Stony Hill Winery. In addition, Leeuwin Estate, a leading producer of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia, will also be taking part. A range of food samplings will be provided by Brannan’s Grill, the Culinary Institute of America, Flat Iron Grill, Illerhues, Miramonte Restaurant & Café, Mustards Grill, Knickerbockers Catering and Sunshine Foods.

"We’re thrilled to have the support and representation of so many of Napa Valley’s finest vintners and chefs at this year’s event," said Martha McClellan Levy, auction co-chair. "Not only will attendees have access to an array of sought-after wines and lifestyle packages at the auction, but they’ll also be able to sample first-hand some of the best food and wine the Valley has to offer."
