January 31-February 2 is the Triangle Wine Experience in Raleigh, NC area to benefit the Frankie Lemmon School for exceptional children. I will be going to one of the wine dinners on Thursday (with Robert Mondavi wines or Hogue Winery wines)--about ten restaurants participate and at least three of the dinners are already sold out. Friday night I will attend a wine tasting sponsored by the "Wine Brats," a local club. Saturday night is an auction of wines and gala. There is a luncheon Saturday with Bordeaux wines (I believe from Lafite-Rothschild) but too expensive for me. I will attend a tasting seminar instead. I am also passing up a reception at the North Carolina Capitol. And it's all for a good cause. Information at www.trianglewineexperience.com
