I love Roumier and yet from a value perspective is less compelling. I love it and I love to drink it but each time I pull a cork, I just wish the stuff was a bit less expensive.
Having said that this is a decent wine. Not a Bonnes Mares level wine but decent. The concentrated is quite impressive, with ripe red fruit, cherries, still a not fully integrated oak, and a broad profile. The tannins are still there and the wine has great grip. Finish is of good length.
so good wine but for the price could have gotten a bit more.
