2010 Shafer Hillside Select - TheEngineer - 11-08-2014
This is a large but elegant wine.
The nose is pure cab (100% cab in fact), berries, black berries, cocoa, dark cherries slight perfume, y aromatics followed by flavors of blackberry, cassis, black cherry, and spices. I little funk... but lush and smooth, this thing is highly structured and very dense. It even pours that way.

Yup
and beside the O'Shaughnessy, it was clear how big this baby was. I had the '09 to open up too but we had more than a few opened by this point.
