'11 Glenora Finger Lakes Syrah - Innkeeper - 08-11-2014

2011 Glenora, Finger Lakes, Syrah ($21.99, Alcohol level 12.5%). The grapes for this wine were grown of the east side of Seneca Lake within view of the winery.

The wine gives you red fruit including cherries on the nose and upfront, there is more fruit including plums along with black pepper and smooth tannin in the middle. The finish lingered nicely.

We matched it with loin lamb chops seasoned and grilled over charcoal and pecan chips, brown rice, and eggplant salad. Yum!
