1999 Aldo Conterno Riserva Gran Bussia - TheEngineer - 07-22-2014
This is a wonderful wine and I am sad that I am at the end of my 6 bottle purchase. Consumed all too soon as this one certainly had much life left but what a wine. Typical barolo with tar and roses, a certain sweetness but not from sugar as much as the sense of it. IT was a bit more feminine than I had expected, more floral than brash. Great persistence and lingered and lingered like only the most majestic of wines.
