1984 Dunn Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain - TheEngineer - 03-03-2014
This wine was yet another from a vertical of 80's cabs where all of them showed so well. This one, showing a bit more age than I thought it would, but still held on well, fruit, earthly, some herbiness, but great texture, smooth and enjoyable. Tannins full receded by this point. lovely to drink. I can;t see this improving so like the others, times to drink up.

Despite the many experts' glowing reviews of this vintage I wasn't that impressed with it and am still not. I opened a 74 Howell from Randy last year and it was singing. WW
