2008 Alpha Omega Proprietary Blend Red - TheEngineer - 02-06-2014

I've followed this winery since the first day it opened in Napa. Frankly back then, i was not a big fan of their wines. but I watched and watched and over the last few years (starting at about the 2007 vintage), their offerings have been much better, especially their proprietaray Red bottling.

This is not a shy Napa cab, but one that has just enough focus and structure to potentially be mistaken for something else. But if there was any doubt, the density of fruit and the lush smooth way it delivers itself onto you, this is a premium Napa valley wine. elegant, focused, great structured and density a nice fleshy texture, this shows deep flavors of mocha, espresso and dark berry.
