1994 beringer knights valley - winoweenie - 01-29-2014

Lunch today with 2 long-time lovely friends from Denver. Took a bottle of this expecting to end up ordering off the list. As usual I blew it by a mile. Gorgeous brilliant red. No browning. Lovely aromatics that overcame the fresh fish smell in this lovely seafood jernt. Vibrant tingle on entry, super strong center and a 4+ lapper finish. Will develop for another 2-4 years and hold another 10+. Kick-patootie bottle. WW

Opened another yesterday for lunch. Amazing staying power for a bottle I'd written off several years ago. Nice compliment to the nice NY Sirloin and ruby yam. WW

Just put the last of these lovelies to rest whilst watching the mity Bubba act like Augusta is a pitch and putt. Am still amazed how this hummer still hits on all cylinders (well, maybe jis 7) but a great drink. I only missed the maturity on this sucker by 15 yars or so, WWAngry
