1999 Aldo Conterno Granbussia Reserva Barolo - TheEngineer - 10-07-2013
I was so looking forward to this wine. I wanted a barolo...but endedup with something that reminded me more of Burgundy. this wines nose was very soft, almost feminine if you will, floral, citrus, soft. On the palate it was the same. Very balanced, lovely structure, but where did the trunculence go? Ove drinking it for 6 hours, it rarely moved. this one still looks to have a bit of life to it. Was it just in a dumb phase?
