Magic Hat Elder Betty - Innkeeper - 06-11-2013

Magic Hat Elder Betty. It is a white summer ale made with elderberries. I didn't taste too much of the latter, but the brew on the whole is delightful. Will continue drinking until it gets retired for the year. Matched it with wraps and chips last night.

This baby keeps going on and on. Matched it tonight with incredible BLT sandwiches. First we cooked some Cracker Barrel bacon in the grill pan, then toasted four slices of Panera's Country White with thin sliced goat Gouda on two of them. Put Mayo on the other two, and then constructed them with lettuce from our garden and tomato from our local farm. Yum!!!

Betty is back for this summer. Got three in a summer mixed 12 pack. Yum!

Another Betty tonight with loin lamb chops grilled over charcoal and pecan chips, brown rice, and eggplant salad.

A couple more bottles tonight with beef loin ends Teriyaki grilled over charcoal and wild cherry chips, yellow zucchini straight from garden nuked with sliced onion, and Frenchette green beans also straight from garden boiled two minutes and rolled in melted butter. Yum!

Seriously, I really want to know if you have a cookbook out. It seems to me you do.... Yes?

Jackie, I've never written a cook book, and never intend to do it.

A couple more last night with smoked St Louis ribs soaked in our piquant BBQ sauce, and sliced tomatoes from the garden.
