1997 Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume - TheEngineer - 11-14-2012

A winery that I no longer buy wine from due to its cryoselection machines. This wine has some years on it but it is still super fresh, all lychee and hints of orange peel.

nicely structured but just a bit cloying. Medium plus finish but lacking what I had expected to be a much longer finish.

I can certainly see why. Who wants a cheapo jernt that only uses the peel in its juice? WWHuh

There's an 89 hiding in the cellar. I guess it may be time to get rid of it.

Should be drinking well now KC. BTW, your bottle may be before the Cryoselectionextractioncontraption, etc....

The owner of the shop gave these to us for Christmas two years ago. I suspect they came out of his cellar.
