Deep purple in the glass, nose of red fruit and chocolate; lots more red fruit on the palate, darker than your average Barbera, very nice with lasagna. 14.5% alc/vol and $21.99 at Costco. I'll probably buy more but there are some mighty nice CCRs at that price.

I would agree with Hotwine and Vipin!. Had this when I was in Italy (but the 2010 version) and started to get a whole new level of respect fot the lowly barbera grape.
