We have always dealt with Kedco on Long Island. Don't hold it against them for advertising in WS since they have since it just pulp fiction. The late old man was a prince. Son nows runs it, and we got our current rack from him. They will also sell you pieces if you want to build your own. Call: 800-645-9988. Last time I checked they still didn't have a website!

I built several out of 1"X12" pine several years ago, sized so each bin held a case (think they were about 14" square), but found two problems with them: they were inefficient for storing less than a case in each bin (and mixing wines in a single bin confused my tiny brain); and they didn't allow air circulation around the bottles to maintain consistent temp and RH. Use racks of welded stainless steel rods from Sam's now, and they're working pretty well (except for the instability of fat bottles when double-stacked).

Send your ex son in law to Maryland and I'll hire him and put the expense on your account!
Drew

Well, went back to Ikea where I bought the racks for the couple hundred addition a while ago and found some "bins" of the same make "Goram" as my racks. Bought 4 at $15 per and assembled this afternood and WOW! They can handle 2 cases in boxes a piece or 3+ cases without the boxes loose. So I just expanded by 160+ in loose bottles for $63...pretty cool.
Drew

Knew you could do it Bubba. WW
