- hotwine - 08-30-2006 A feature of the EuroCave that is often missed by new owners is its plug-in activated charcoal filter. In mine (a 260), it's located behind the top rack and accessed from the cooler's interior. It needs to be changed at 3-month intervals... and they're not cheap, at about $39 per. And (as far as I know) only available in the States from Wine Enthusiast. New owners should bite the bullet and order a year's supply as soon as their EuroCave arrives. - wondersofwine - 08-30-2006 Thanks for the tip, HW. I installed the charcoal filter but didn't read up on how often it needs to be changed. My unit runs quite quietly. - hotwine - 08-30-2006 Great! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, Wonders. |
