I have recently found four bottles of Baron Philip Rothchild Mouton Cadet (1975, 1976, and two 1980)

Could someone estimate their approx value at sale?

To elaborate on IK's point...

Mouton Cadet is Chateau Mouton-Rothschild's 34th or 35th label (not really) But its the 1st growth's lowest level wine, if I am remembering correctly. Figuring for inflation and other stuff, they probably cost about $3-5 when they were first out. It is a very enjoyable wine when its first out and its meant to be drank young. Your bottles are most likely dead. If by some bit of luck they aren't, you may have a nice drink of wine.

Another reason the value is nil, if they were good, is that it is nearly impossible to get any money off single bottles. Most private sales occur at the case level.

Pop the corks and hope you have something drinkable. If they aren't drinkable, pour them down the drain and hope they don't chew through the pipes.
