I have a bottle of 1961 Chateau Mouton Rothschild, I don't know the storage history, my parents gave me that and several other interesting fine French wines and I am curious about the value, suggestions? They would have to be physically checked because I am not sure about the storage conditions, I've stored them myself for 2 years.

Including: 83' Chateau d Angludet Margaux, Cos D Estournel Saint-Estephe(magnum), 95' Chateau Lafon-Rochet Saint-Estephe.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

Hi Kaya and welcome to the board. One of the 10 greatest wines in my experience the 6and1 Mouton is (was) sensational. Without complete provenance this wine would be hard pressed to reach its' full resale potential. The last time I saw this posted it was at 1400.00 per. Maybe a great accompionment for a
Whopper?. Your best bet is winebid.com or E-bay if you wnat to test the market. You didn't say where you were from. If it's in the continental US I'm available to bring the appetizers and open that sucker.WW
