Hi,
I recently received a bottle of Chateau d'Yquem, Lur-Saluces, 1945 as a gift. I was duly told it was a great vintage. Just out of curiosity, can any members give me an indication of its worth?

Sorry no one has answered you. AmiVin, a UK Internet wine merchant is currently offering a bottle of Yquem 1945 for £1,332.50 (and a magnum for £4,554.54!). If you want to see what they will offer you (expect 50-60% of the rsp), try ringing 0181 964 2240 or faxing 0181 960 3177. Good luck.
