I love this pinot noir. Its from Willamette Valley, a production by Eric Hamacher, and Lindsay Woodard. Delicious wine produced in small numbers with close attention to the farming all the way up to harvest. The wine has lots of fruit but not over jammy or ripe, perfect balance and acidity, great food wine or to drink just by itself. Cherry, mushroom, slight teryaki. Not your forest floor Burgundian pinot noir with backwards fruit or extreme earthiness.

Hey, this wine sounds good but don't go knocking the forest floor Burgundian juice! It can be really special!
