Had this the other night with grilled flat iron steaks, garlic mashed and field green salad (as previously mentioned). Very nice wine. Wonderful nose - Judy took a sniff and went "Mmmmmm!!" Tannins have softened up nicely. Fruit still evident, with a bit of chocolate. This one could have probably gone another year or two - too bad it's our last one.

I sent a bottle of this to a friend in CA so that it could rest until we get there. sounds like I should be looking forward to thsi.

Just so happens that I'm in SF......
I'm visiting him tomorrow night so I'll see if he pops this or if he has something else he wants to open.
