- winoweenie - 03-09-2011 One of the, IMHO, superb bottling every year of this killer grape. Commonly called Petite Sirah this makes a poewerful batch of ageable juice that goes from being like an juriassic park critter to a loveable pussycat with some whiskers. Have actually had a 32-year-old bottling in the last 6 months that put a smile on this wizened old kisser. Morphs into a cross between a 30 yo burgandy and a 20 yo zinfandel. Marvelous stuff. WW - winoweenie - 04-18-2011 Killed another baby yesterday to go with veggie enchiladas with chorizo on the side. Perfect paiting. No diff in the juice just the sides. WW - TheEngineer - 04-19-2011 hmm...gonna find a few bottles of this in my cellar than and lose it for a few decades ![]() ![]() |
