and dearest friends at the club. Found a couple of orphans that really were killer. First out of the bottle was a 94 Livingston Moffit. As good as Moffit juice can get, but was completely swamped by the 92 Elyse. Svelt, suave, and sexy. Shared with the guys at the club and it was consensus that 92 was a year that has COMPLETELY been underlooked vintage-wise. Just remembered back in 2000 I had a tasting of all the 1992s' in the cellar. Took about 2 months as there were around 65 if my memory is correct. Think the total tasting was archived somewhere on the board. Didn't taste the Elyse, instead used the Etude. Fun tasting but would never do an exclusive vintage tasting as it wears the ole' taste-buds down. WW

Elyse has been a consistently fine producer.

Used to sell their wines about 15 years ago when I was on the road for a division of Lauber Imports.
