- Bucko - 11-20-2002 In an effort to control WW and his cohorts, an impossible task, Hotwine has agreed to help lasso the critters, stampede them with his cattle herd, or share some of his lightening bolts. Good luck, Hotsie! - winoweenie - 11-20-2002 I guess them dudes in the hinterlands will do enny-thin to pass those LONG, COLD, BORING winters. (giggle) ww [This message has been edited by winoweenie (edited 11-20-2002).] - Innkeeper - 11-20-2002 I love Bucko, and and I love Hotwine. As a matter of fact, I love everbody. You've done a great job Randy B., and I'm sure Gil will too. - winecollector - 11-20-2002 Well I think this calls for a big ole' Texas shin-dig! I propose Gil do us up a side o' beef over the BBQ... and we raid Vern's cellar! - Bucko - 11-20-2002 Now we're talking! - hotwine - 11-20-2002 Got about 200 lb in the freezer right now. Maybe 300. I can't count that high. - hotwine - 11-20-2002 Thanks to all, I'll try not to screw this thing up too bad. Spammers are in my sights. - Auburnwine - 11-20-2002 This is terrible! Moderators are people who practice moderation? What a burden! - winoweenie - 11-21-2002 Oneced more time!!! WWs' cellar is ALWAYS open to any of youse'uns who are lucky 'nuff to be in the area, but NOT IN MASSE......... And believe me even when I'm on one of these silly sabbaticals it does get some use. I'll post on some terrific stuff we drank whenced I returned from duty in San Diego on the, what else?, cab thread.WW - Jackie - 11-22-2002 Just want to add my thanks to Hotwine for volunteering to keep us informed and inline (well, some of us anyway). I also want to add a big thank you to Jim Wallace and Randy Caprioso, who helped moderate for a long time. We know they have many other irons in the fire, but we value them and hope they'll continue to contribute often. Wallace seems to have developed an allergy to alcohol, which is kind of a drag if you're a moderator here.... Anyway Hotwine, welcome to the Hot Seat. If you need me, just send an SOS to jackie@wines.com or call me at 510-581-1104 in the San Francisco Bay. Same goes to all our regulars. - winedope1 - 11-24-2002 congrats, Hotwine!! wannna borrow my lariat? |
